How To Set Up GE Air Conditioner & Connect It To Internet!

What's up, everyone for this article. I will be setting up my new GE Wi-Fi equipped air conditioner with the app. So, if you have not already done so, download the GE Smart EQ app and sign in. So I've done that already. Now, when you're on the app, select add appliance, and the next thing you're going to do is select that Wi-Fi button right there. hold it in until you hear a beep.

Once you hear that beep, select Ge appliances, then select Air Conditioner and select Window Air Conditioner, which is what this is, right. So another little information that I wanted to state is: if you have a 2019 or older tablet, then you will not be able to get the latest GE app. So search for it on an APK file packet website. I went to Apkpure.com and I searched for the various links to download the packets of data needed to get this app. So I found the one from November of 2020 is modern enough to have air conditioner as one of the appliances. So that's the one I selected and it's modern enough to be compatible with this tablet, but not too modern, so they won't work with it.

How to Connect an Air Conditioner to the Air Conditioner

So let's start with this setup. It's like next. Now I press the Wi-Fi Connect button. It's supposed to start flashing, but it did not. Alright, I kept pressing it until it started flashing. You might need to press it up to 10 times, which I just did. Once you see it flashing, select next. Now go to your Wi-Fi network information located on the side of the air conditioner and type in the password that's given.

The app is now trying to find your appliance in the cloud and don't forget you have to register your air conditioner first with the codes on the side, which I've already done.
